My friend just gave me a shock! she said that Daniel Redcliff catches swine flu, her father watched it on tv. I was like WHAATT??? then I searched the internet to find out about the news, and it turned out that Rupert Grint got it, not Daniel. Oh noooo! that's even worse, I love Rupert more, he's my most favorite in Harry Potter. But I'm so glad that he's recovering now, and is ready to promote Harry Potter.

It seems that there's no magic spell against the swine flu.

Rupert Grint, 20, who plays Harry Potter's pal Ron Weasley, caught the notorious bug while filming the latest movie in the wizard series but is now well enough to attend Tuesday's London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

"It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu," his rep says in a statement. "He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards."

Grint's doctor determined that the actor is not contagious, the rep adds.

Filmmakers of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows were able to shoot around Grint's absence and no production days were lost, the rep says.

I just got home from meeting my former colleagues. One of them came back from China two days ago and it's been two years since we last met her. Nothing has changed, she's still the crazy and fun kind of person XD And as usual, whenever we meet, there's always a chaos XD I had so much fun, catching up with the others, having coffee (we're coffee addicts btw), eating non stop, laughing, joking and such. We spent more than six hours hanging out. I was hoping that we could also watch a movie (and I reaaallly want to watch Ice Age 3), but since one of us brought along her kids, it was impossible. Well...next time maybe.

Speaking of movies, it's been ages since I last had a must-watch movie list. I rarely go to the cinema lately, but I think starting this month I'll be spending quite some $$$ for movies and this is my list:

btw, a friend of mine watched MW today. She said that the story was so so, but both Tamaki and Yamada Takayuki played very well. Frankly speaking, I don't really care whether it's going to be sucks or so-so or a great one. I am too curious to know whether Tamaki can play his character well or not, and ever since I saw MW pics I've been so curious about Yamada's acting too. I know this sounds silly, but I like his look in the movie lol! His hair isn't as long as his in BOSS, the length was just fine in the movie. Tamaki's cold expression and Yamada's depressed look really intrigue me. So yeah, I'll be patiently waiting for the movie ^^

I just realised that I've written quite a lot of Tamaki lately lol! I guess he really got me hooked since the first time I saw him in Itoshi Kimi e. How long has it been already? more than four years? I can't really recall. It's easy to know whether I'll be fangirling a Japanese artist/group/singer permanently or not. If I have their photobooks and I talk about them quite a lot, so they'll stay in my fandom. That goes to SMAP (nuff said, I worship them), EXILE, Tamaki Hiroshi, Odagiri Joe and Takashi Kashiwabara (I don't really talk about the last two quite often, but they aren't just a crush for me XD )

I finally watched KING ^^

It's such a good film, if you (my indonesian fellas) haven't watched it, go to the cinema and buy the ticket ^^





KING is a story of a boy from a poor family, Guntur, who wants to be a number one badminton player in the world just like his and his father's idol, Liem Swie King. the legend. Guntur's father is a badminton commentator in their village. He loves badminton to bits and so does Guntur. He asks Guntur to work so hard in order to achieve his goal that sometimes it is too much for Guntur to handle.

He tried so hard to conquer all the obstacles (and these scenes made me shed a tear at times XD ), with the help from his best friend, Raden. The hardwork paid off, Guntur got the scholarship offered by the biggest badminton school in Indonesia. He even met Haryanto Arbi, once a number one badminton player in the world. He even met his all time favorite badminton player, Liem Swie King and had the chance to take a picture with him (which his father proudly hang on their living room's wall).

I love the story, I love the simplicity of this movie and not to mention the awesome cinematography. My!! Indonesia is indeed beautiful ^^ I got chills in the scene where Guntur first set on his feet in Djarum building and was in an awe when he saw the pictures of Indonesian badminton legends. I grew up watching some of their matches on tv and seeing their pictures there somehow brought back my childhood and adolescence when I never once missed their matches. Yappari, badminton ga suki ^^

There's this funny scene (where I laughed so hard) when during the ceremony, Guntur's father shouted his name, and both Guntur and Liem Swie King nodded and Liem Swie King waved his hand to Guntur's father, Raden suddenly fainted LOL! It was so funny that I cried laughing LOL! oh, Guntur is actually Liem Swie King's Indonesian name. Well...this movie is inspired by Liem Swie King, that's why Ari Sihasale (the director) and Nia Zulkarnaen (the producer), chose this name for the main character. Oh...Rangga Raditya, the one who plays Guntur, is a badminton player in real life fyi. I remember watching Kick Andy where they came to promote KING, Nia said that they spent months to find the right boy for Guntur's role, the one who really  can play badminton.

The second chills I got when I heard Indonesia Raya, our national anthem, being sung by Guntur's neighbors to celebrate Guntur's victory. Watching that scene somehow made me proud of being an Indonesian ^^

I put sooo much hope into this new single because lots of Tsuyoshi's dramas used SMAP songs as their theme songs and I'm glad this one will too ^^

What a lazy sunday XD

I did nothing but spending my sunday on my bed, sitting in front of my laptop XD

I watched Tetsuji's Prisoner this afternoon, but got stuck in episode 1. It's quite a heavy drama. Even though Tetsuji is so gorgeous there, I can't stand others' acting (the non japanese actors). Gosh, their acting is so lame that I decided to stop after bearing the first 50 minutes (not to mention listening to their japanese-English lol!). I might continue it later, but not in the near future I think >.<

I'm currently downloading Tunnels- Food Prejudice King from D-Addicts (dated 4th June 2009) where Tamaki guested the show, the speed is really killing me T__T does anyone know where I can download this show from other file hostings? I can't find it on youtube either >,< He sang Hajimete no Chu as the batsu and I laughed so hard when he sang it in a squeeky voice XD

now, what should I watch? I've got so many things to watch I'm confused which one I should watch first XD

My friend and her Jakarta Legacy community are going to hold an event to celebrate our Independence Day (Aug 17th). The event will be held in Museum Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi Kemerdekaan (Museum of the formulation of the teks of Indonesian Independence Proclamation). They chose this building because it's just the perfect choice that has a correlation with the Independence theme, besides this museum isn't really famous compared to other big museums in Jakarta. My friend asked me to accompany her yesterday to meet her other friend, and because it's been ages since I last went there, so why not ^^

this is the building, it was being repainted when we got there. The building used to be a house, owned by a Japanese Admiral named Tadashi Maeda.

the event will be held for primary school students to give them more awareness and knowledge about the history of our independence day. Jakarta Legacy has conducted many interesting and fun, yet educative events for primary school students and I think it's time for me to join them ^^

After spending 1,5 hours in the museum, we headed to Kota Tua (Old Town) and had some early dinner there and had a nice talk about the history of museums in Kota Tua

I grew up listening to his songs. I'm still this sad, still can't believe he's gone T___T Goodbye MJ, may you rest in peace.

not busy working, but browsing XD

I only have two classes today, YAY!

after spending one hour learning some new vocabulary from babbel, I got bored XD I want to make some sentences but my grammar is totally zero so yeah I couldn't even produce one ^^;; The site is really nice because you can also practice your pronunciation, but gosh! I find it difficult to follow ahahaha...

then I started googling similar site but for japanese language, and I found one ^^ I get more excited with the site as I can explore more with my japanese, unlike my german lol!

so, in the next 2,5 hours (while waiting for the sushi party) I'll be drowning myself in these two sites ^^

I felt like killing my colleague  this morning. (I said that in a loving tone of course XD )

I was sitting in front of my laptop when my colleague arrived at work then said this "hmm....you'll join our club tomorrow so I hope you have a great time enjoying your last day of being 20s today" LOL! I've always been the youngest among them, so yeah, they've been waiting for this time to come when I finally join their big 3 club...not until tomorrow though XD

but I guess I'll do as she said, enjoying my time today ^_^

The good thing about today is my today's schedule isn't as loaded as the last three days. Gosh! I've been working like a mad for the last three days. I hardly had decent break. Well..we all know it's coming since it's school holiday here so the classes are quite packed with high school students >.< So far, I've only had two hours in my schedule, so I have more time to download things to feed my fandom needs do things I should've done long time ago, which is sorting out the handouts and files to make my desk tidier XD

but being the lazy me, instead of doing the noble job, I'm occupying myself with babbel My friend introduced me to this wonderful site to improve my German. If you're learning German or Spanish or Italian or French or even English, you can register to the site to have more practice and you can even help other learners by proofreading their sentences or passages. It's wonderful IMO.
