Happy belated New year 2017
Happy belated new year, everyone ^^

I'm glad that 2016 was over because apart from my fandom related stuff, 2016 was a rough and shitty year for me. I just hope 2017 will be nicer and less tough to go through.

December 2016 was pretty tough as Dad fell ill (he's slightly better now). I just don't get why parents are so difficult when they are sick, like literally difficult. When I realized that my dad had been coughing non stop for one week and no medicine gave a significant change, I urged him to see a doctor or go to the hospital, but he always refused. He kept buying those over the counter remedies for his coughs and got mad because none of them eased his cough. I was so frustrated because he kept refusing to go to the hospital. He gave in though, like finally. I think he couldn't bear it anymore that he finally agreed to go to the hospital. I took him to ER so that he could be taken care of immediately. He got Bronchopneumonia Duplex, infections in both his lungs. Doctor said it it could be caused by bacteria or the result of smoking (Dad used to smoke but he stopped smoking 5 years ago). The doctor kinda scolded my dad for not going to the hospital earlier (and I just snorted at dad because I was kinda angry at him for not listening lol). After some discussion, dad finally agreed to be hospitalised, it's more to I MADE him agree. He stayed at the hospital for 4 days (and God knows how much patience I had to put up with while he was at the hospital because he just kept being angry, complaining, and sulking all the time I had to tell myself to be super patient with him T__T). Well, he's getting better now. He seems to get his appetite back and started to eat rice again. His doctor gave him antibiotics and other meds. He's going back to the hospital in 2 weeks to have another X-ray to see how his lungs progress after the medication.

Btw, I haven't gone back to work yet since my dad fell ill. I just can't leave him alone at home because it's just the two of us here. Sis came home on weekends to check up on him and cooked him this and that (though most of the time he refused to eat the food because he didn't have any appetite at all). One good thing that comes from dad being ill is that it made me cook lol! I was surprised that I could actually cook decent food hahahahaha (my dad is the one who cooks at home, he rarely lets me cook). I guess there's always a good side to everything, huh? XD

Been watching lots of downloaded movies while being at home, one of which is Train to Busan. Wew! who had the idea of categorizing this movie to horror because I kept weeping and weeping and weeping while watching it (and forgot to breathe because it was so tense lol). I regret skipping this movie when it was screened here. This movie then led me to watching Goblin hahahahahaha... I like Gong Yoo in Train to Busan so why not give Goblin a try, so I thought. I don't normally watch kdramas unless they have Jang Hyuk in them XD Oh my! little did I know that I would be so hooked into Goblin, like literally so so sooooo hooked!!!! I just love everything about this drama; the casts, the chemistry, the super amazing bromance between Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook, the story, the hilarious part. OH GOD!!!! I even sacrificed my mobile data to download Goblin while staying at hospital lol! (my cousin is also hooked into this drama btw we flail over Gong Yoo quite a lot at the hospital hahahahahahaha). I think I've never been so hooked into a kdrama like this before, not even with Jang Hyuk's Thank You, which remained my most favorite kdrama ever (before Goblin takes over lol). So in love I am with Goblin that I watch it everyday, sometimes I even re-watch it from episode 1 hahahahahaha. Friday and Saturday nights are my most favorite nights as I get to see the new episodes of Goblin lol! I just hope that this drama has a happy ending for everyone. It's episode 11 tonight and episode 12 tomorrow night. Sigh. What am I gonna do with my life when this drama ends? T__T
